Where are you located?

Our address is 301 North Interstate 35E, Denton, Texas 76205.

We're located next to the Fort Worth Drive / I35E intersection, just off the service road. If you're on the highway headed in either direction, take the Fort Worth Drive exit, and look for our sign and big red building!
What's the difference between layered cakes and tiered cakes?

A cake layer is roughly two inches tall. A double-layer cake has two layers of the same diameter stacked together, with either icing or filling in between to hold them together. For example, an 8" double-layer is eight inches wide and four inches tall.

Tiered cakes have at least two double-layer cakes of different diameters stacked together. For example, you can place a 6" double-layer on top of a 9" double-layer to get a two-tiered cake. These are most popular with weddings.
How far in advance should I order?

The sooner you order, the more choices for decoration. We prefer at least two weeks' notice for every order, so we can be sure we have all of the materials needed. However, if you need a cake in less time, we're more than happy to offer any of our standard decorations to choose from.

Need a cake tomorrow, or even the same day? No problem - we bake extra cakes just in case. Please keep in mind that we can only do our festive decoration or chocolate shavings on top for these orders.
Do you have cakes ready-to-go?

On occasion, we'll bake more than expected and have them available for sale in our refrigerated case up front. This is not a daily occurrence, so please call and check before you come in!
Do you have vegan, gluten-free, or sugar-free options?

Sugar-free: Our sugar-free white bundt cake serves 15 and comes with sugar-free cream cheese icing. $60.00, requires 48-hour notice.

Gluten-free: We can bake gluten-free cupcakes by the dozen, iced in white buttercream. $35.00 per dozen, requires 24-hour notice.

Vegan: Unfortunately we do not currently have any vegan options.
Do you use fondant?

We specifically use fondant only for decorations. We are a buttercream bakery and will not cover our cakes in fondant. Thankfully, our decorators are very skilled at what they do and are able to smooth out the icing to practically look like fondant. If you are interested in a cake decorated with fondant, please give us at least two weeks' notice and a picture of what you're looking for.
Do you delivery special occasion cakes?

We are able to deliver special occasion cakes Monday through Friday within Denton city limits. Saturdays are reserved for wedding cake deliveries. The minimum order is $40, and delivery adds $15, or $25 if on university grounds (due to the lack of parking avaialble on the school's grounds). Please give us at least two days' notice.
What are remnant cakes?

Cakes often have rounded tops when they're finished baking, so we have to cut those down in order to prep them for decorating. Instead of just tossing all these perfectly good cake pieces, we will stack ones of the same flavor into a small pile, spread some icing on there, and sell them as remnant cakes! Since they are dependent on our cake orders for each day, remnant cakes are not available for order, and flavor availability is different each day. They are $10.50 each or $12.50 with extra icing.
