Our Story

Candy Haven is a locally-owned, family business that has been operating for over 40 years. We are an all occasion custom cake shop. Our cakes are fresh, never frozen and beautifully decorated. We take pride in creating a cake for every special occasion in your life.

Jane Boyle first opened Candy Haven on October 3,1983, in a small shop. Since then, she's expanded her cozy shop to better meet the love that our customers have given us. Our cakes have earned numerous awards throughout the past 40 years, thanks to the wonderful Denton Community that has spread our name outside of our hometown. Jane and her husband Mike have watched their family grow up here, and now they are happily watching their Grand and Great Grandchildren grow up, hopefully with more on the way.

Every cake is freshly made in-shop and lovingly decorated to perfection. We have been using the same Famous Recipe we have been using since our opening. We take great pride in having served Denton and the North DFW area, creating beautiful Beautiful Cake Designs without sacrificing any flavor. We have developed a very specialized set of techniques over the years, and our ability to recreate Fondant Designs with Buttercream is what really sets us apart from the rest. We have created beautiful cake designs for every virtually every occasion: Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Gender Reveals, Smash Cakes (Complimentary with 1st Birthday Cakes that serve 20 or more) Christenings, Graduations, School Events, Corporate Events, Adult Themed Parties, Retirements... you name it, we've done it!
