Four Decades of Sweet Excellence
For over 40 years, Candy Haven has been a beloved family-owned bakery dedicated to creating beautiful, delicious, and memorable cakes for every special occasion. Founded by Jane Boyle on October 3, 1983, in a cozy little shop in Denton, we've grown alongside our community and loyal customers.
Our commitment is to craft fresh, never frozen cakes that are as visually stunning as they are flavorful, using our treasured recipes and expert techniques. Every cake is baked fresh daily in our shop and meticulously decorated with care and creativity.
We specialize in recreating intricate fondant and buttercream designs that suit any celebration—be it birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, bridal or baby showers, gender reveals, graduations, corporate events, or just because. Over the years, our cakes have earned numerous awards and recognition throughout the North DFW area.

For over 40 years, Jane Boyle has been the heart and soul of Candy Haven and Cakes. Her passion for baking and her dedication to quality and community built the foundation we still stand on today. Though she's stepping into retirement, she'll always have a hand in the kitchen — and a place at the heart of our story.
Taylor Boyle
Soon to be Owner & Second Generation
Growing up in the bakery, Taylor learned early that hard work, creativity, and customer care make all the difference. Having spent a lifetime surrounded by the sweet smell of success, he now carries on his mother's legacy with pride, bringing new energy and vision to Candy Haven's next chapter.

Candy Haven founded by Jane Boyle in October in a cozy little shop on Sunset Street in Denton, initially starting with handmade chocolates
Transitioned from chocolates to cakes when summer heat affected chocolate business - 'People always need cakes' became our motto
Building a family legacy - the Boyle family working together in the original cozy location on Sunset Street, creating the warm atmosphere that made Candy Haven special

After 16 years, outgrew the cramped Sunset Street location and began planning expansion. Started with handmade chocolates but found our true calling in creating beautiful custom cakes
Starting with Chocolates
Jane's journey began with handmade chocolates before transitioning to cakes when the Texas summer heat made chocolate work challenging.
Plans to Expand
After 16 years on Sunset Street, Jane planned the move to a larger location to better serve the growing community demand.
Major milestone: Moved to spacious 4,500 square foot location at 301 N. Interstate 35 East and celebrated grand opening with Denton Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony
